RICHARD CLARK

Group of lampworked marbles

Artist Statement: "Each piece is made from molten glass using both solid glass rods and tubing. I also use various techniques and tools to achieve the final results. The designs are always different, but the techniques and tools have been used for generations." Richard Clark began lampworking in the autumn of his life. He is very enthusiast about his craft and artwork. He has studied under Roger Parremore, Tim Drier, Jeffery Spencer and Loren Stump. He also gives credit to Mike Edmonson and many other lampworkers and glass blowers in his adventure in making fine art glass marbles.

The Museum of American Glass in West Virginia wishes to thank Richard Clark for donating to The National Marble Museum. His colorful designs are a welcomed part of the marble display.
